PSI and leadXpro visit

On Tuesday, April 9, we had the opportunity to visit not only the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), but also leadXpro, a spin-off company that is internationally active in structural biology and drug discovery.

We were first welcomed by the CEO of leadXpro, Michael Henning, who showed us the new facilities of leadXpro, including the laboratories and offices. After lunch in the Park Innovaare canteen, we continued our tour to PSI, where we listened to an introductory talk by Florian Löhl about the Swiss FEL (Free Electron Laser). Afterwards, we headed into the forest to see the huge electron accelerator with our own eyes. It was very impressive to see how much knowledge and technology comes together in this place. Many thanks to leadXpro and the PSI for giving us an insight into their science and research.
