Molecular Partners visit

On Thursday, April 25, we had the opportunity to gain an insight into the biotech company Molecular Partners in Schlieren, which originally was a spin-off from Andreas Plückthun's lab around 20 years ago. First we were introduced to the company by co-founder Michael Stumpp, then we were able to visit the labs and learn more about the challenges and advantages of a lab in industry. Finally, we were able to talk to 2 group leaders about their research careers and their role in the industry today. The event was rounded off with an aperitif and some very interesting discussions and insights about careers and the importance of getting to know yourself in order to know what you want to do.
